not skim, but read about a completely unfamiliar topic and absorb the info

how quickly can you read from a univeristy level textbook? not a novel for literature either, something like calculus or software engineering

Before i had slightly slower reading speed compared to others, but on the other time i tried to also understand and memorize what i read, and others just speeded through without focusing on the context at all.

Now days, i have an OCD so if i'm even slightly interested in what i'm reading i read one page in time others would read like 3-5. Hell, i'm so tired sometimes i don't understand anything about anything so there's that as well.
