A pretty interesting visual novel/racing hybrid. Wheels of Aurelia tells the story of Lella as she drives up through Italy towards France while talking to the hitchhikers and other characters she meets along the way, as well as partaking in a few races on the way up. Due to the branching paths and race outcomes there's sixteen total endings in all. While that seems like a lengthy task, the game itself is about fifteen minutes long per route and chapter 1 can be skipped after reaching each of the two destinations in it once. Even with this, chapter 2 will have to be played many times and there's only three variations of it so some of the dialogue will get repeated way too much. Hearing all the dialogue, though, shows some interesting sides of the characters you meet and some dialogue options only appear if you pick certain answers. Despite some of the repeated dialogue it lends itself well to multiple play throughs. Even if you're rubbish at racing games, it's still not hard to win any of the races in the game (and you need to lose some to unlock new cars and endings). The platinum only requires picking up all the hitchhikers, unlocking all the cars, getting all the endings, and staying silent through a full play through; all of these should come naturally through just playing the game.

It was a good use of four hours and the $2 I paid on PSN. It's in the holiday PSN sale now and will probably be discounted in the Steam sale, so if you're interested pick it up.
