24 y/o Marissa and 23 y/o Hannah Brandt are SISTERS from Minnesota who will be competing at the Winter Olympics in South Korea in February..

But one will be competing for Team USA and the other for Team South Korea as both their parents have to root for BOTH at the Olympics!!

South Korea's fledgling national team was building a 2018 roster for their nation and invited Marissa to their country and 2 weeks later, she departed Minnesota and reconnected with the country she left when she was 4 and a half months old. Marissa said "I'm happy i took that leap of faith" and 3 years later, she became a South Korean citizen who is slowly learning the language...

Hannah, the birth daughter of Greg and Robin is the adopted sister and both say it's not awkward at all to play against each other..if it comes to it.

Marissa and Hannah were signed up for Korean culture camp and Marissa said she HATED it..but Hannah loved it because she loved korean food and taekwondo.

Marissa said that Hannah wished she was born on the plane instead of herself as Hannah had an interest in Korea. Marissa was adopted in 1993 as the girls did everything together including dance, gymnastics, soccer..they were best friends

Marissa is a defender who attended Gustavus Adolphus while Hannah is a forward at the University of Minnesota.
