Throughout my life, I have often heard people mention Metallica and ACDC together, even though they are 2 distinctly different genres from slightly different eras.

I feel like they are mentioned together because of Beavis and Butthead.

I hated all star and it was INESCAPABLE! It used to troll me so hard when people would think I'm A Believer was original to them.

Walking on the Sun didn't bother me much until it got way too much airtime.

I catch a lot of flak for liking Foo Fighters but I don't even think it's because of their music and rather because they often get overrated and hailed to be the Jesus of modern rock which obviously isn't accurate
