I have a Chromecast to stream my phone's picture to the screen, but I'm getting a lot of lag on videos.

Yes, it's a cable with a micro usb and a hdmi thing, assuming you have an android. I used it to play mobile games but it still lags. Videos and internet browsing is fine.

Amazon has them. I have tried to find them in stores but the people have no idea what I'm talking about.

Mine connected directly to HDMI port on the TV but that should work if you plug in the HDMI cable.

Saw those too, just seemed more expensive and I got plenty of cables.
