A lot of it has to do with the manufacturing jobs moving out of the country thanks to Obama's anti-business regulations. Trump's getting it all back on track, don't worry.

If you look at the bottom ten, it's Lousianna, New York, Mississippi, Ohio, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, West Virginia, New Mexico, and Alaska. So you've got southern, mid atlantic, southern, midwestern, midwestern, western, mid atlantic, southern, south western, and "other." All over the chart as far as location.

As far as political affiliation, in fact, you've got five red states and five blue states there. But don't let readily available simple statistics straight from the federal government get in the way of your rant. Man, it's hilarious seeing people with such fragile worldviews.

A lot of migration has been going on from Cali to Texas due to job opportunities, still a red state by 8 million votes or so.

Of course, Texas as a red southern state doesnt fit your narrative. They were barely even affected by the 2007 recession.

I mean, a logical reason is over paying the taxes in large proportion that fund welfare. The richer always wanna get richer after all. If youre poor though, I dont really know why youd care. Although I think this sentiment is a much bigger deal among the wealthy in Europe. Have you looked at the French tax rates recently?
