why not recruit every ranger they possibly could?
why did the writer decide to make his shitty fanfic he wrote canon to the franchise?

Power Rangers did it because Sentai did it (although their version had every Red Ranger from Goranger to Gaoranger)

Also Saban had originally intended to have a big battle with Serpentara vs. various Megazords, but that fell through and they changed to the dull ending with Cole on his ranger cycle.

contracts and unions have prevented an actual reunion on screen. Jason David Frank isn't in the union, last I heard. Walter Jones is, though.

Also the budget was so bad. The "moon" was changed again, and they wound up using Bettleborgs and other Metal Heroes suits to act as the Machine Empire army.
