Are there any current phones that can last a solid work day with continuous use, reasonable brightness settings, and all that without needing to be plugged in or use a battery bank during the day?

A fresh Note 4 battery can go for 3 days or so on a charge, with generous use. Mine's about 5 years old now, but it'll still go over a day unless I'm hammering it.

A Moto Z2 play or a Samsung Galaxy S8+
With the Moto Z2 phones, they have mods which just attach to the phone too, and one is basically a whole extra battery --- I do drawings and stuff https://www.fiverr.com/blueblitz ... Copied to Clipboard!

you're supposed to charge ur phone every day anyway I do charge it every day. What I don't like is having to charge it multiple times during the day. I'm a heavy user of my phone between texting, email, maps, shopping, reading news, streaming music, connecting Bluetooth headphones, etc. I can get to a point where by noon I've already lost a significant amount of battery and an forced to drop screen brightness to a point where it can be hard to see outside, disable Bluetooth and not use my headphones, turn off WiFi if it's on, and jump through hoops to make sure my phone doesn't die on me before I can get home or somewhere to charge it. I don't want to have to carry some bulky battery bank in my pocket on top of my phone and wallet just to make it through the day with my phone. All the flagships seem to just be about performance power, as if I need some 64 bit 8 core CPU, 3D gaming capable GPU, and a 1440p+ screen on my cell phone. --- "I have bitten both of my children" - IfGodCouldDie 10/22/17 ... Well you just said that you're a heavy user. Maybe the reason why you can do all those tasks easily is because your phone has all those specs? All that takes processing power, which affects battery life.
