Definitely January. Why? I mean I know its a new year and yada yada, right? Wrong. Sure it can feel that why but when you think about all the fun you had during Christmas and having the days off and such, you begin to really miss that... : /

January is usually dull and boring, so that.

February. It's too far away from any decent holidays and it's shitty as fuck with the cold. By this point everyone has lost their zeal for the new year.

Well, April is the cruelest month so... maybe that. I also don't like January. And February can be a piece of work.

I guess it will have to be January. The holiday fun ends, and it's winter... well, in the Northern Hemisphere. Sorry, but I'm not tolerant to cold. I also don't like shorter daylight hours.

August can be kind of boring since there aren't really any holidays.

The cold and shortness of daytime of the winter months causes many people to suffer Vitamin D deficiencies, and depression/ennui is a side effect of that.

Probably December. Both my Nan and Sister died during that month on the 24th and 27th respectively. Plus Christmas and New Years bums me out a little as I have no GF or even friends to spend those with and it seems everyone is enjoying them. Still I do go out for a few drinks during that month with my Brother, I sometimes see my sister and her family. I've also got another Nephew who was born that month so it's not all bad.

December because it usually just reminds me of how little I've accomplished during the past year.

Easily December. People get stressed out over the holidays, lots are separated or don't have anyone to spend it with, and suicide rates jump up. That's my "in general" answer. For me personally, I don't have one. There are things I like about all times of year.

April for me, where I currently live anyway. It's the time of year between winter and summer (no real spring here) where everything is still covered in snow, and everything that isn't is full of dog shit and mud.

Hiking trails are unusable, ski hills are unusable, biking trails are unusable, and swimming outside is not possible unless you wanna drown in a torrent. It fucking sucks.

There's usually some sweet games out in May as well, so the anticipation starts getting to me.
