still no decision.

In the mean time, I've had a phone screening an onsite and the Christmas holiday and still nada. I only know that they're still actively considering me because I had an employee from the company look at my LinkedIn this week.

Here's to hoping they're making me a good offer. Will be devastated otherwise.

In my experience, if they don't want anything to do with you, you'll know a day or two after the on-site. My past two jobs had a similar wait at the end of the interview process.

That's not really that long this time of year. From like Thanksgiving week up until the first week or two of the new year, not a whole lot gets done.

Hell, recently with a company it took me one month to go from application to final decision (going through all the steps in between), and that was moving fast compared to everyone else. Two months is like the minimum you should expect for that to go down - over normal months, let alone holidays.

Applied or interviewed? If applied, you're likely never going to hear back. If interviewed, you should have followed up by now. I usually follow up within a week or two of an in-person.

Call the company and see if they have made a decision yet.
