Off the top of my head, I remember a cancellation of an episode of a music performance show two years ago because they were going to have a black-face doo-wop group as their main performers (https://tinyurl.com/y7asjvlj ) - keep in mind, it's the same guy that caused that outcry as well. There has also been pulling of posters as well as complaints about commercials that show foreigners with big fake noses (for English schools usually), or segments where foreigners are the bumbling idiots of the scene, etc. It's all mainly people that live out here being too sensitive, but at the same time Tokyo is gearing up for the 2020 Olympics and trying to present the city, culture, and environment as more foreigner-friendly, so they are taking complaints like this a lot more seriously recently. --- hmmmm... <cite>Aizret posted [p:893445890] in Japanese T... Especially since he's trying to pretend to be a specific person, not just a black person in general.
