Two-way LttP randomizer races are much more enjoyable to watch than 4-way by the way. Much easier to follow, especially when both runners are good.

Like I said I've only seen the one, but I'm inclined to think I'd prefer 4 over 2. I get that it's easier to follow, but I'd prefer to see more variety of paths and find out which one is best over just this vs that. Or like if one person makes a costly decision it seems like it could be effectively over much sooner than a 4-way.

I mean...if you prefer a 2-way race, can't you just pick 2 from a 4-way race to focus on and ignore the others? >_>

I'm probably missing something obvious, but how do I watch past runs?

if you go to the gamesdonequick twitch channel click on "video's." there you can watch all the past stuff.

also, eventually they put all the runs on their youtube channel. that's how i always watch them.

Popular games appear during primetime and accepted longer runs tend to be of popular games.

Since some people are wondering on the potential effects of no kill/save the animals donation incentive we are currently about 65k and 50k behind 2016 and 2017 AGDQ respectively at this time.

Of course there are other factors for less donations (people being upset about the organization in general) plus it could be random fluctuation.

2018 could catch-up (2017 easily caught and surpassed 2016). Though it would take quite the prize pack to surpass 2017 (that last day brought in over a million dollars).

Metroid Prime 3 was a difficult watch. They had a joke about how the motion controls created "immersion" but they beat all the immersion jokes to death, and then beyond death for good measure.

I dozed off and didn't even see the trick being failed 20+ times.

It reminded me of the mirrors edge run a couple of years ago. The runner and the guy on the couch had a running gag where couch guy would pretend to not know what glitchless was and would complain every time the runner did a minor glitch that was still allowed. It wasnt funny the first time they did it, and he literally did it like thirty times through the course of the run.

This one was worse though because the actual run was kinda bad too.

Strong marathon so far though imo. Theres only been two runs I didnt like that Ive seen so the ratio of good to bad has been very solid.

This whole horror block has been fantastic. RE7 was great, the race was a lot of fun even if they both almost died at the exact same spot, and this Silent Hill run is very solid as well. I missed L4D2 and whatever game was before RE7, so I'll have to go back and check those out.

It wasn't bad at all

That trick causes regular resets when he's doing real attempts all the time, it's really that unpredictable/precise. The only reason the death in arctic caverns cost so much time is because he used the warp to quickly get back to where he was instead of collecting lives and so he didn't have any extras when he messed up

uh i've watched tons of TMR battletoads attempts (both any% and warpless) and this is bullshit. "regular resets all the time"? he resets there sometimes, sure, but 90% of the time he gets it.

other than failing the glitch several times and the arctic caverns death it was a fine run, though, i agree.

- battletoads. i'm biased because i love seeing TMR run this game but yeah. terrible start but other than that it was a good run. unfortunately no big jon on the couch this time but PJ is great too. also, it ends with TMR finally succeeding at doing turbo tunnel blindfolded at a GDQ.
- dragon warrior. very impressive run and i love nescardinality.
- hollow knight. was a pretty cool run with good commentary from the runner.

not much else sticks out to me so far. haven't seen too many runs though.

Super Metroid could also make a good deal of sense. If they were hoping to capture the fire in a bottle from last year when they did BotW, there are really only a couple of games they could put in there that could hope to draw anything close to the insanity of the final day.
