same reason there's so many Balthier without it despite Ifrit being a very obvious equip and there being multiple 50% fire res armors.

need to work on mine a bit but i should be able to get mine decked out really nicely soon for this (putting Brotherhood at the top of my TMR list, already have DKS). 800-900 ATK, water weapon, 100% fire res should have him perform as an optimal unit for LDG.

He is a gunner with coated imperils of your choice when you don't use specific builds. (The lack of the light armor variant tmr for now stings if you want a 2B+OK build over Sparky or similar builds.)

That's why you should only spend with iTunes gift cards that you get when they go on sale.

It's like a restraint that you only spend what you have on your account and don't dip into your credit card, and you wouldn't be spending as much since they're discounted gift cards.

Now if you overindulge on those that's a different story, but those typically have buying limits anyways.

I'm only F2P on this game because I spend on other games, and spending on multiple games sounds like a financial disaster....well, more so than spending on them to begin with. Even with those, I only spend on packs or bundles. Rarely outright buying the in-game currency.

Ive definitely rage bought Lapis before and its almost instant regret. Ive significantly cut back on spending in this game over the past 6 months or so. Ill still buy bundles if theyre a good deal but I havent bought raw Lapis since Nier.

Its really just not worth it. Youre in the same situation as I am where we both have more than enough top tier units to handle any new content that comes out, so at this point its just about vanity, which is a dumb thing to spend money on when its for a digital good that no one will see.

Looks like all three 5* will be banner units, but theyre doing rotating banners like they did for SD3, so each banner will actually only have one 5* on it, which is good news.

i assume these are DW builds, which is what i'm doing too.
one handed gun in one hand, of which we honestly do not have a lot of. i'm using Dragon's Roar, so 78 ATK. Sparky is technically great for him but it locks him to lightning element, which i don't want. that said guns do give him +50% ATK so he should have one.

the offhand weapon of choice from there varies a bit. right now i've got Genji Blade + Katana Mastery but once i get Brotherhood i'll swap it to that and DKS. there's no other water weapon worth a damn he can equip apart from Camille's TMR which gives DW to swords. i guess there could be builds focusing on that (water sword + sword + DKS) instead of a DW build with a gun but that doesn't seem like it'd outdo the basic gun + katana combo that most people should be able to pull off.

Yeah I think it's important to add funds to your account before spending funds. This game makes it easy since that's actually the smart way to do it with the high value limited time bundles.

But yeah if you're spending money "in the moment" that's the recipe for disaster. Course I regret spending money on this game at all at this point but that's an unrelated issue.

I could see Square Enix shutting down King's Knight in the near future so if you happened to have gotten any of those units they could end up being super elusive.

oh hey so heres a hot tip for legendary, apparently all the rounds before the boss (sans bonus units) just drop 1 currency, so you can escape to skip those fights and just fight the boss without losing much value

i know people were using Escape to get through the rest but didn't think they all dropped just 1. i guess i'll give it a shot to see if there's any difference. if not, then frankly anything with 100% evade and 100% fire immunity can solo it.
