Sure it does, just redownload it when you replay.

Your hard drive only needs to be for your core set of games that you play often, plus whatever recent incidental games you've played that you don't need to delete yet since your space hasn't run out. The only difference with physical discs is that your "core set" is 1 game (i.e. useless) and it's a bit faster to reinstall.
