I'm really enjoying Origins. The combat and stealth is fun enough that I don't mind too much how every sidequest is some variation on "find hideout, kill everyone, bring what's inside back to rightful owner."

I liked II enough to play the follow-up (Brotherhood I think) but got kinda bored 75% through that because it was just playing more of II. haven't touched the series since.

IMO
1, 2 and Brotherhood are worth playing. Relevations is okay too. But then they gave up on the plot. And considering every Ass Creed game is the same, there's really no reason to play them after that. Played 1 and enjoyed it. We got 3 next and I made it 25% or so (not even to playing the main protagonist) and like Giant_Aspirin I got bored of it since it's just more of 1. AC even ruined Shadow of Mordor for me.
