Okay Im clearly not who I think I am. Just did a bit more of the left side after getting Alices ending and theres a few 3D scenes of my body with my face deliberately cut out.

If Ive actually been playing as the sigma the main character thinks he is Ill eat my shorts

Unless the rest of the endings are incredibly long it looks like Ill either beat it tomorrow or Tuesday.

Just got the Sigma ending. Luna told me what is presumably the password to the "two headed lion eating the sun" screen in the directors office.

I get the feeling that everyone in this game are props just to have Sigma succeed. But.. why? I wanna say I had a sort of idea what was going on in 999, but I guess i really didnt until the reveal of child Akane. Wondering if VLR will be the same, because I have no idea what the fuck the grand scheme of this game is.

Im also surprised he isnt a full robot, and just has cybernetic arms.

Tenmyouji being closely related to Akane is strange too.. hes been chasing after her for years? How Akane will manage to manage to still be relevant is beyond me.. next thing you know Junpei will make an appearance.

That's what I'm going for. I have a middle path, left path, and a long right path. I don't think I can do the middle path just yet? Last time I tried it gave me a game over and I don't think I've done anything to change that (I had 5 minutes to live after losing the AB game) but I have the username/password for the directors office so I'm headed to do that. Probably tomorrow.

haha nah its cool, that's the fun of these threads. I always love reading Danganronpa playthrough threads since I'm big on that series. I'd like Zero Escape more for sure if I was more of a puzzle guy, but the story is good and intriguing enough to keep me going

tbh my bomb theory about Phi is so absurdly wrong it cracks me up too. I was honestly grasping at straws, but I knew that Phi and Sigma were obviously incredibly important to the story. At the time it made plenty of sense.

P good game. Though I felt like the ending I got wasnt the true ending since it was kinda open ended (ends with Akane telling Kyle that he has to jump back to the 25th, right? Which I assume is the setting for ZTD). Assumed it was kinda vague as to not give too many details of the third game. Still, I enjoyed it much more than 999 when it came down to it.

Now to see why everyone dislikes ZTD >:)

To be honest, I never felt there was a right or wrong way to do the paths of VLR. I chose the Left route and enjoyed my time all the way through. I liked having to go jump between paths for more information, it's more fitting to the storyline.

Sounds exciting. I dipped my toes in just a little bit, and was immediately offput by the fragments and its way of telling the story (and the animations..). I'll probably make a playthrough thread when I start to get into it, but I wanna beat Yakuza 0 first.

The twist is definitely worse than the other two games, but I found myself enjoying the parts that aren't the ending the most out of all 3 of the games.
