I appealed a moderation, citing that what I said isn't against the rules if they let everyone else do the certain thing except for me. Naturally, I got a ton of BS answers all the way up to lead mod (thanks, Error), so I wrote to the admin:

Can you add a section to the ToS called "Specific things Franklin can't do"?

Then I was thinking that SBAllen could do that for all the users himself and his mods don't like. That way, we can all post with an understanding of each other.

If mods let the majority of users do something, it is not against the rules. Therefore, what I posted is not against the rules. If it's "against the rules, but only if Franklin does it", that should be mentioned in the ToS.

I don't tread the line. This all started because a CEgal began making false accusations about me, and Error decided to white knight for her. I believe that event in question is still on this site, on Hellhole. Ever since then, I've even been suspended over saying "Hoth donates to charity".

If this site's administration were transparent about their style of enforcing the rules (bias, who is a friend or enemy of each mod), it would save everyone time. I'm trying to help.

SBAllen decided he's fine with selective enforcement and "mod discretion" against people they don't like. We all know this, including me, but their routine of playing pretend is just silly.

SBAllen runs the site, he's allowed to be as unfair on it as he wants as long as he isn't violating any laws.

And also, if allowing mods to be abusive so they stick around without being paid is what he has to do, that's just pragmatic towards his bottom line.

I totally agree. There was one time when I asked a mod if I could PM him some questions I had about the ToS and he told me that I couldnt and I had to post it in my topic or ask the mods. When I posted my grievances, the mod told me to go fuck myself and that he wasnt going to bother writing a response. I then posted my questions to the Ask the Mods board and I got suspended.

LOL. Sometimes I'll post on ATM like "yo how do I mark this type of violation?", and they give me a 3KL for "off topic" while other topics like that are actually responded to.

Also, a section in the ToU about a user named Franklin wouldn't really apply to you since your name is FrankIin. Even if you could spell your username correctly, it would just be a repeat of everything that's already in the Terms of Use since you aren't being accused of doing anything outside of what's already there.

I've alerted mods to several duplicate violations when I've gotten modded for something similar and they've gone and deleted said posts.

Yes it is. If 20 people are all speeding together and a cop pulls one of them over and gives them a ticket, they still broke the law and are personally responsible for that. Other people not being prosecuted for also speeding is irrelevant.

Considering that contesting moderations is a useless feature, I wouldn't be at a loss.

GameFAQs mods are not here to enforce the ToS or be fair. They're here because Internet power is all they have, and so are their friends that they let slide with everything.

I just want SBAllen, or one of his mods, to admit what is really going on and stop playing pretend.
