Actually, white America is probably more similar to mainstream Russian culture. That's not to say that we don't enjoy Hispanic culture and what they bring to the table, but there's more to culture than just what you named your city.

They were named by spanish conquerers and spanish missionaries

And Texas has a ton of places named after German immigrants. A lot of the Mexican owned land was very sparsely populated.

The way that religion is practiced and used in Mexico is vastly different than how it's viewed and used in the US and Russia. Arguably Mexico is more Roman Catholic which comes with different beliefs and traditions than evangelical christianity in the US or Russian orthodoxy.

Entirely separate phenomenon. Radio stations play Spanish music because of the Spanish-speaking populations in those areas where such radio stations are a thing. Yes, perhaps that music is popular among white Americans but they're not necessarily the target audience.
