Board 8 > Is Rune Factory 3 as superior to 1 and 2 as I've heard?

Meow1000 01/11/18 10:34:45 PM #1:	Most things I've heard about the DS Rune Factories seem to suggest that 3 is so much better than 1 and 2 that it's hard to go back to them afterwards because there's that much of a gap. Is it really that significant an upgrade? It's an unusual sort of series where the developer took note of design problems both major and minor and would overhaul and fix them in the next game (although the jump to 3 to 4 isn't much, then again there wasn't much left to improve).
