Because Im invested in crypto, find it suitatable to my interests, and would like to have healthy discussion without people repeating age old-fallacies and memes. People do not need to be whistled in to something they will soon regret.

Watch the market. If it stays stable, buy the dip. Dont just buy because its a dip. You do not know if it will dip further. And even then, please invest in coins you can see yourself strongly backing. Never give in to FOMO, and invest what you can afford to lose.

Do not listen to shills. Do not listen to pattern parrots. Do not listen to HODLers. Listen to yourself, and listen to your gut. Period.

Obviously. Most coins are garbage and will die one day. The only coins worth buying are those with an actual use like ETH or BAT.

The US government allocated almost a trillion dollars in emergency funding to try to save mortgages. They failed and millions lost their homes. Just the emergency funding was almost a trillion. The amount of money flowing through the housing market before the recession was a staggering sum, much higher than the current crypto market cap.

Crypto will not cause a recession.

While youve got some points with the 2007 mortgage crisis, the parallels are only very, very light. First off, the mortgage market in 2007 was much larger. About 7 trillion total with 1.3 million of that subprime loans, and thats without an upward adjustment for inflation. The total market cap for all crypto peaked around 750 billion and is now a little over 500 billion.

Second, and more importantly in regards to your idea of sparking a wider crash - crypto is obviously very new and immature, and a market crash for crypto is unlikely to inspire wider fear and panic since it is not viewed as a completely legitimate financial market or instrument yet. In addition, Id wager there are far fewer people involved in the US crypto market than there were with the US mortgage market in 2007.

Tl;dr I dont think all of your ideas are terrible, but I think your fear of a widespread crash extending beyond crypto is laughable
