I enjoyed it; though I haven't finished the story. I like its focus on platforming puzzles, it's something you don't expect from a game like that.

I uninstalled that game for a really dumb reason >_>. I did all the yacht races just fine but there was a series of ground races where the time limit was really strict... and the one on the ATV was like impossible because there was always at least one jump that just totally screwed up my orientation and killed my chances.

So.
I don't know why that was the thing that made me stop playing it >_>.

Oh man, I don't think I've found those races. I already completed all the go-kart ones

The one I'm thinking of took you sort of on a backroad along a hill, over some train tracks and through a train station. Maybe I just suck at the game >_>.

Also the commentary was so dorky I couldn't handle it that much. Maybe I'll give it another shot when I finish Mafia 3.

Convince me to get back into that? It's been probably over a year now

Eh man I'm not here to convince you of anything! If you didn't get into it then I don't really blame you, it definitely is kind of repetitive.

I discovered that ATV race very early in the game, after maybe the first time I got into the open world. It almost made me hate the entire thing, it was complete BS. I had to swear off the racing entirely after that and only allowed myself to do main missions and side-ops.

Really enjoyed the game but all the races are staying unplayed forever.

Well I think that about answers one of my questions which is whether or not there's some special upgrade you unlock to make the racing more tolerable.

I've seen some scans of that comic. Pretty funny. Archie has had some wild crossovers like with the punisher

a lot of the humor is cringey, but since it's mostly good natured, I enjoy it

"playable". dawg, it has great gameplay, where you can fuck around for hours, if that's what you wanna do

I did that for a while, but because I wanna get into my backlog, I've been focusing on main missions

There is actually a nitro boost skill for the vehicles. I never went back to the races again though so I can't vouch for how much easier it is.

Well shoot one day I'll download it again. I actually bought it right after beating Watch Dogs 1, so maybe I was burned out on the gameplay or... maybe that race was just more aggravating than I imagined.

Saw this at Target for 20 bucks. I got the first one for the same price a long time ago and didn't despise it, just thought it was really average. Would you say it's a marked improvement over that?

Said it before, I'll say it again. It's the Assassin's Creed II of Watch Dogs.

It's a fun romp with a decently sized campaign, entertaining side-missions and likeable characters. Kinda reminded me of Saints Row 2 in how they balanced the realism and surreal.

Gameplay-wise it's an improvement over WD1, you get a lot more options with the hacking. Narratively, it's just preference. First game is dark, gritty and serious. This one is much more light-hearted but manages to raise the tension at times.

That game was riddled with pop culture references.

so many, lol.

and even at the last mission, you have to do those shitty puzzles where you align circuits

I still enjoy it, despite that.
