Dc cinematic reallt dropped the ball. Even most animated films aren't that good anymore.

Think the last great one was Assault on Arkham which is what Suicide Squad wished it could be.

Gyllenhaal is generally a better actor than Affleck, but Ben was a great Batman (I haven't seen Justice League, and idk if things change), so I dunno how I feel about this

Justice League was weird in that Affleck was still good as Batman, but he was one of the worst characters. Like they took the "BvS is too gloomy" criticisms and just turned Batman into a slapstick wisecracker. He's always out of breath in the background while the real heroes are dealing with stuff. It's kinda annoying.

Overall I'd say JL as at least enjoyable tho, coming from someone who didn't really like MoS and thought BvS sucked.

Not sure why they think that. I mean when people say BvS is too gloomy, they are talking about Superman, not Batman. Batman is supposed to be grimdark and gloomy. Superman isn't.
