That the package won't get stolen?

Apparently people steal packages from people's porch... I guess I am privileged enough where I didn't even think this would happen.

I've had hundreds of packages sent to my house and never once was one stolen.

A neighbor's package from Amazon sat in front of their door for like a week while they were out of town, so yeah I guess I feel OK after seeing that.

yes. I've never had a package left on the front porch, but other tenants have and I've never been asked about missing packages. I've had things as expensive as a mobile air conditioner left on the side/back porch (where my door is) delivered and nothing was stolen.

I voted no but I regret it. I've lived here for 15 years and never had any problems with packages being stolen but this past Christmas season, there was someone who went around swiping packages and I do believe I confronted him in my yard at one point. I'm a little leery from that but it may very well have been an isolated incident.

Yeah. I live in a quadplex that's perpendicular to the road and I'm all the way at the back. My closest neighbor is super paranoid about strangers walking up the driveway and he's always home. My other two neighbors are cool and though we don't really socialize, we all kinda look out for each other's shit.

I am friendly with my neighbors, and if I saw that, I would have taken the package and left a note in their mailbox to protect that package from the weather.

Yeah but only because neighbors are regularly outside and the front door is easily visible so someone would notice a person taking a package. I wouldn't be surprised if some kid is walking down the street just decides to run up and yank a package though. Random shit like that can happen

No. Package theft is a growing problem in my town. The police did a sting recently and caught some people. Porch surveillance video is also becoming more common. I suspect it will become as much of an issue elsewhere as more people switch from buying retail to buying everything online.

Yes. Not only do I, I have, constantly. In fact I've had FAR more lost/not delivered packages (like 8) than stolen (0).

Yes, sort of. I've never had a package stolen off my doorstep, but...

One time, a package sat in front of my new neighbors door for almost a week. I got curious, looked at the label, and saw that it belonged to the previous tenants (whom I'd made friends with and had moved out like two weeks before). I took it into my apartment, called my old neighbors, and had it handed off to them within a few hours. To anyone watching, it probably looked like I just snatched it.
