A 17 y/o girl's heartbreaking text messages for being bullied for being Fat has gone viral...but people are also finding it hard to feel empathy for her after her RACISM was unveiled as well!!

Bailey texted her mom to ask her to bring her a T-Shirt and Jeans to wear after students at school were mocking her for wearing a dress. Her mom was confused at first after she asked what she was wearing and she said "A dress and people are making fun of me and taking pictures of me and i wanna change"

Her mother quickly went to her school with a shirt and jeans in FIVE MINUTES as a screenshot of Bailey's LEGS were taken on snapchat and made fun of by someone named "Dylan" who wrote "Thicc"

People were posting in support as they said the cycle of bullying should end after the bullying and body shaming was uncovered..

However, in an ironic twist, despite her story of bullying went viral, she has also gone under fire after her RACISM and HOMOPHOBIA was uncovered from her older tweets..

Some has gone as far as to say she DOESN'T DESERVE any support!!

In one of the screenshots she posted a tweet asking her twitter users "If i say i hate black people, am i racist?" and she also used the n word and f-word against gay people as well as she insulted a gay man who was acting feminine in class and she called him an annoying f-word!!.

Would you have trouble feeling empathy for someone if you found out they were racist or homophobic?

It's bad if she's a racist (not sure what she said to be deemed a racist), but it's not a reason to berate someone like this so harshly. If she were more deserving I might say fire all cannons, but not here.

If you're bullying somebody because you're upset that they're racist, criticizing their weight is a stupid way to go about it. And, in all likelihood, even if she hadn't said anything deemed offensive she'd still be attacked so it's not much of a defense.

If they bullied her because she tweeted something racist, the bullying should have followed after the tweet, not before. They were definitely trolling her first for her weight and appearance, or else hell is cold.

I have trouble feeling empathy for most people simply because I don't care about them. I've never been one of those folk who say/feel things because that's what I'm supposed to say/feel.

Still if this gal can't handle the heat I suggest she gets out of the kitchen. In other words if you can't handle name calling stop posting yourself all over social media or at least set your options to "friends only". Also don't go reading other people comments about you as you may not like what you find. It's not difficult but something tells me she enjoys the attention. As for real life? People are always going to have a opinion on you even when you just walk past them in the street. They may also take pics of you accidentally or on purpose. Nothing you can do about it so deal with it.

I find this comment to be irksome. Feeling sympathy for obese people is well and good but how about skinny folk? The media hardly ever highlights folk with fast metabolism and/or eating disorders like anorexia and those with that are just as unhealthy as obese people.

I'm not sure what you're basing this perception on, but it's been heavily covered over the years both in terms of the media and within schools (granted, maybe just American schools. Maybe Brits don't even have a problem with anorexia or bulemia).

I've never noticed Ducky post about it or the UK media much. That's the only perception I have.
They do tend to post about obesity a lot though. I don't believe the UK has a major problem with either of these things but I do find it odd that the main focus seems to be obesity while completely ignoring the fact that being underweight isn't healthy either.

Skinny folk can get bullied for their weight, can have low self confidence and all that a obese person would too. I assume it's because they don't want to upset the folk that are obese and build a notion in their head that being skinny and not being able to put on much weight is the holy grail. It of course isn't but with that said I'm happy I'm skinny as a twig no matter what I eat rather than being obese so eh.

Anorexic people aren't as obviously inhumanly-shaped and anorexic people don't have a visible bone acceptance movement.

In a lot of cases, it's not that hard to make somebody less hateful. I think of that guy who was a neo-Nazi because when he was little a black man broke in and raped his mom and he always got beat up by black kids at school. He went to prison at some point as an adult and upon release had a black woman as his probation officer. Over time, he grew to respect her and think of her as his friend because she was a good person and challenged him. He burned all his racist paraphernalia and got his related tattoos removed and totally renounced his former life of hate.

I'm pretty sure Huffington Post was where I read the story... She won by just not feeding into his hate.

I'd put her in the "fat but sexy" category. She has amazing boobs and a decent face, and she looks very soft and huggable. I'd also enjoy kissing and resting my head on her fat stomach.

I don't think bullying is ever justifiable. These kids are hypocrites if they think they are doing something good by picking on someone for their weight. Even still, I don't feel as much empathy for this girl because of the type of person she appears to be. If I were to be in any position where I'd have to intervene, I'd probably lecture everyone involved.

She looks like the type who would probably date Black guys b/c they are more accepting of her 'Thicc'ness...
