Goddamn, that was a great one.
Everything about Amadeus is so superbly done, from the sets, acting, editing, and especially the musical cues. Hell, the intro already encapsulates all of those aspects in such a seamless manner. And the movie gets even better as it goes on. Well, for the most part anyway. I think its main problem is that the later part of the second act is pretty boring, which affected my experience with the movie (I watched the 'inferior' director's cut version, as many people would claim, instead of the theatrical one, so there's that). i was surprised at how much i enjoyed the movie. when i read the description it sounded boring, but damn was i wrong. great film.

Good movie. However, the director's cut adds nothing but garbage. The theatrical cut is much better.
