Imalia wants me to plant some cameras in an apartment. Ok. There are 2 people there. Fine. I trance them, do my thing, get out. She's pissed at me.

Ok, I try again and this time I don't use trance. The boyfriend patrols for me but never finds me. I get out. She's pissed.

Finally, I do not alert them at any point. They never detect me, never comment or patrol, never look in my direction. She's pissed.

Is her default response to put me on blast for getting caught, or what?

Are you just placing the cameras and leaving, or are you also accessing their computer to activate the cameras? Cause you have to do that before leaving.

Other than that I don't know what else to say other than they may still be noticing you. I've never had that issue in any playthrough of mine.

If you weren't detected, IDK why she would be pissed. That one chick is supposed to get caught having a threesome with a guy and a Llama, and Imalia is supposed to laugh.

i'm placing them and activating them. my sneak is only 3 after blood buffing, is that why? should i level up a little and try again?

i have had it sitting in my steam inventory for like 10 years and finally played it a couple days ago. it's very fun. it reminds me of deus ex

Well after a quick Google search I saw the VTMB wiki has a note about this quest recommending a sneak level of 4 or higher.

Don't know if that's true or not, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to try.
