Maybe this change will help with something on the back end or something that will be giving CBSi more money? The thing that stands out to me is the more rewards for FAQS and site competitions. So in my eyes, this upcoming change must be getting more income for CBSi/Gamefaqs. Unless I'm missing something? Anyways, I think this is positive.
