Had an altercation with this dude my sister was seeing when I was like 19, I dislocated his elbow - about the worst, I'm generally a very happy person.

But nah, pretty protective of them.
At the same time they know my policy on women giving consent to be hit the second they hit someone first, I still never got the story straight. :/
And they're lucky it was me and not my closest brother, he's a lot bigger lol.

Yeah thats probably the only scenario Id get into a physical altercation with someone. Theyd have to harm a loved one.

Grew up in a shit town, family had a reputation via my half-brothers for being drug addicts and shitbags.

Fought a lot when I was younger. Used to go out of my way to do it when I heard someone else was "tough."

Won a lot, but got my ass kicked here and there. Got jumped at work.

I've calmed down considerably. Closest I get to actual fights anymore is bjj or on-duty shit.

Been in a few. Won some and lost others.

Probably the worst was one time at a club some bros were waiting for me outside . . . I got sucker-punched and sank to my knees whereupon I received a head kick that bounced my head off the pavement. My friends dragged me out but I remember none of this due to the flash-KO.

I have trained significantly in a variety of martial arts. Tonight I was at a brazilian jiu jitsu class actually.

Training has really made me appreciate violence; one truth I would share with you if I may is that:

"Violence begets more violence."

The wisdom of this is that by using force you will simply draw more negativity on yourself. Diplomacy and talking (or running) away from the situation should be your prerogative. Our society has a highly-evolved system to deal with people who resort to violence.

Trust me the last thing you want is an assault charge with possible prison time.

Win some, lose some.

Usually with the same guy. A friend of mine and I used to drink really heavily together. We had a tendency to black out and fight each other.

There was never any bad blood the next day. The last time got a little out of hand though. He needed stitches and I had a black eye. We still hang out. We just don't drink to that extent anymore. That particular night was a substantial amount of alcohol. We're dumb.

Apparently I got in a fight with a kid at church when I was little, I don't remember it, and neither does the guy I supposedly fought though. *shrug*

I got in a fist fight with my brother once. He was taking an attitude similar to my father, putting me down, insulting me and my mom, etc. I told him to shut up, so when he said "make me" I punched him in the face. Up until then, no one had ever stood up to him, so he didn't know how to react. He ended up just wrestling me to the floor and sitting on me though. It caused a lot of issues between everyone and myself, because apparently me being the piece of trash that I am, should never have laid a finger on him. Me and him were over it long before it stopped being a problem.

Then of course the huge brawl between all of us when my dad snapped and was going to kill us. I'm sure I could've won if my mom hadn't been getting in the way and trying to restrain me so my dad could keep hitting me. >_>
I ended up bruised to heck and had bite marks all the way from my shoulder to my elbow, like 6-7 different times he bit me. He ended up pinning me to the floor and trying to strangle me, so I was punching him in the face to try to get him off of me, but my mom kept holding my hands down and telling me to stop resisting... while he's literally trying to choke me to death. Anyway, I don't remember how, but I managed to break free and call 911. He tackled me and smashed the phone, but that calmed him down. He was terrified to be caught red handed by the cops, so he settled down in his chair and was just as calm and polite when the police arrived. The cops knew something had happened, as I was standing there all bloodied up and beaten in ripped clothes. I was telling them he was crazy and tried killing us, but they didn't believe me. They ended up making me and my mom leave instead. Said it was just a simple domestic disturbance. No, it was attempted murder you incompetent idiots... Still pisses me off and it's been like 10-11 years.
