Yeah, that's basically how I was bullied in school a lot of the time. They'd have a couple bigger guys pin me down and twist arm behind my back while they trashed my locker or dumped my stuff in the garbage or something.

Worst time though was from my parents. I mention it sometimes(posted about it yesterday), but when my dad tried to kill me I was being held down like that. He was sitting on my chest trying to strangle me, and my mom was trying to hold my arms so I couldn't fight back. Honestly, I should've just let it happen, it would've saved us all a huge pain. He'd be prison for murder, mom would be free to live as she pleases and could milk my death for sympathy and favors, brother would sell all my stuff for money and use the situation to manipulate people to do what he wants. And I just wouldn't have had to put up with any if it.

To be fair, she was a bit taller than me, and I kinda had a crush on her. I regret not acting on it, though.

She is weird about it. She's of the opinion that fighting back only escalates things, so I was trained from a small child to never fight back when I was being beaten. She saw me fighting back that time and was trying to hold my arms down so I didn't make things worse... Worse than literally being strangled to death, somehow.
I expect she was just panicked and not thinking clearly, although it does kind of bother me that her first reaction was to apparently try to help kill me rather than to pull him off. >_>

yea I don't know. that is just too weird to understand. I feel like your mom is crazy. depending on how the case went, she MIGHT escape prison but go to a mental ward instead. but yea, that is not normal. if you had died, I think it would have been a national news story cause of how bizarre it is

Nah, no one would've cared enough for it to be a big story like that. It might've made it to local news about a murder.

There were far worse murders here that didn't even get any media attention. An unsolved murder where a severed head was found by the lake about 5 miles from my house. Or the mentally challenged guy who was kidnapped, beaten, raped, and hanged. Mine would've been tame compared to those.
