The horizon event is a guaranteed larhe crown. The huntathon theyve been posting with 5 monsters in a map are also a great way to get crowns of both sizes. Ive gotten every crown from the 10 monsters in those events so far

The hammer rules. I beat Kushala Daora my first try, too. These elder dragon fights are fun, for the most part.

And even though I am really liking the hammer, I think I'm going to go back to a different weapon for a little while. I'm close to getting the Royal Burst gunlance, but I've played Gunlance a bunch recently too. Maybe I'll go back to Switch Axe, I haven't used that in a long time.

Full sets? Not really. Dodogama i guess if you want to shell a lot. 2 levels of artillery and capacity boost.

I recommend making mixed sets though.

I think the sickness has set in for me around the same time it set in for tri when I got my first blue sharpness weapon when the frustrations of the early game begin to fade and monsters just start falling apart like a hot knife through butter

Even though I haven't even really started trying to get my high rank armor or decorations yet (just wearing aloy for now) but it's enough to propel me to keep going

I beat the game the other day and my drive to play it dropped off pretty hard.

i beat the tempered kirin two days ago and felt alive again. but yeah, with bloodborne going free on ps+ and the new overwatch character coming out soon-ish, i'm scaling back how much i'll be playing this significantly.

at 130+ hours of play time, i'm pretty satisfied though!

Yeah, I'm just about fighting the elder dragons for the first time. Gonna try and get them all done, then maybe a little tempered stuff before Sea of Thieves comes out and I can see my play time take a nose dive. Still, coming on 90 hours, so definitely got my money's worth.

Been trying out Generations and Stories Demos after getting out of the MH series back after 3G.

Geez I am so ****ing rusty, couldn't figure out how to use Charge Blade properly. Sucked so much in the Tutorial against the very first big enemy. Karate kick was hilarious BTW. At least I rocked HBG as usual (well, comparatively speaking). These new Hunter Arts are spiffy. Going to try the other ones out later.

I liked Stories so far. A bit childish, but par for the course with mons. The Head On thing I can see getting annoying as I go on, but I beat Fate Extra, so maybe I can beat this one too. But geez the Demo is really long.

After I found out that decoration melding isn't random and follows a spreadsheet I've totally been abusing PS plus Cloud saves to find out what my upcoming melds are and reloading them when I'm on their turn and I find a gem I like
