I've been playing through the story mode and played a few ranked matches but so far, it's meh to me. Idk why, good game, Ive been a life long DB fan, but idk

What other modes should I try?

Maybe you're tired of playing through the exact same story for the 100th time

As soon as I saw that Xenoverse 2 was going to be nearly the exact same shit as Xenoverse 1 with the first few battles being a direct copy, I completely lost all interest

I mean, I only played an hour of the game's story mode, but it starts off with someone (presumably the player as their cheeky way of breaking the fourth wall) possessing Goku, that somehow prohibits his power usage (explaining why he's not just one-shotting everything and an in-universe explanation for why everyone's around the same power level now). He then has to go around Earth and defeat evil clones of characters that have been appearing while rescuing the real ones.

Sounds kinda original to me.

yea the story is completely original. i only played like 2 hours so far and android 21 has appeared now. i loved xenoverse 1 for the new story but skipped 2 since the game seemed like it was pretty much the same thing.

but fighterz i wasn't that interested in from the beta. i was super hyped before but the fighting isn't as in depth as i was hoping it would be. still fun and all and looks really good and flashy. just simplistic. i'm sure people have already found better combos tho and there will be some depth but just think it would be better without the autocombos being in and if all the characters felt more different.

i got it for $15 with discounts so i'm happy for that price. i think it's fine for $30 but i wouldn't pay no $60 for it.
