Anti vaxxers pushed me in the other direction.
I was always in favor of vaccinations but never really got the flu shots because "it's the flu I don't care if I get the flu and I don't like the way the vaccine makes my arm hurt" but these days when flu season rolls around and I have access to a free flu shot I always take it. --- ... Of course they're good. Technically, we've been genetically modifying plants/animals since agriculture/domestication became a thing. We're just doing it in more advanced ways now.
