There is only one number in that whole formula. The rest are all letters and words. That's not math, that's grammar.

It's been a while but I remember in calc 2 there being like a list of common forms of integrals and problems like these would basically boil down to looking at that list, matching the problem up with something on the list, and then adapting the solution to fit the specific coefficients in your problem.

We didn't have the list with us on tests but if you did enough work with it it wasn't hard to remember

It freaking was.

It was mostly just Cal I again, except applied to vectors the same way everything else applies to vectors.

I had some new notations, like the partial integral, and it had a few common sense things like the idea that you can put an intehral in an integral, and a few miscellaneous vector concepts like projections and components, etc, but nothing as BS as Taylor and MacLauren series, or hell series in general. That stuff sucked.

Yeah we've done that, shells, and arc length/surface area so far with surface area being the hardest imo. But that problem you posted looks way harder than any of this so far...

Any of you fancy some "real life" Maths? This is the pretty basic shit I deal with daily. It's not quite differential tangents of second deviations of stress calculations, but think of it as a very basic engineering calculation.

The last, outdated report for aircraft G-FAQS showed that it had flown 15265 hours and 4431 cycles. Engine 1 was installed new at 1151 hours and 116 cycles on the airframe. Engine 2 was replaced with a new engine 5900 hours and 2200 cycles after Engine 1's replacement. The airframe (only) has had to take a 1.5x penalty on its cycles between Engine 1 and Engine 2 replacement. Engine 2 has, since installation, flown for a total of 21000 FH and 11000 FC. What is the total life usage on the current engines and the airframe?

I failed Calc II. Had to take it again, and did okay. Fuck that class. I'm glad I'm done with it. Thankfully there are a lot of resources online to help you with it. I definitely should have taken advantage of it the first time.

What resources do you recommend? PatrickJMT on YouTube was the sole reason I passed calc 1
