Haven't played in a year or so. Holy hell there's so much new stuff to do. And everything seems so much more polished now. I'm only level 17 on my main frame(<3 loki) and went to check out plains of eidolon but didn't know about it and went out at night..... Yeah lol. Those magnums they gave out for ps+ bonus are crazy good too.

You can do almost everything solo, and there is a story of sorts. It auto puts people with you for missions unless you tell it not to.

Better than both in most ways. And yeah it looks great on pc. Even looks good on console. Runs like butter too. No real sponges except for some bosses. Most enemies are fodder. The game is all about speed and chaos. Very very fast combat.

You don't need to. I hadn't played in a year and jumped right back in. The only thing that's really different and takes adjusting to is the newer progression system for missions

Your ship is your player house of sorts, where you do all your crafting, take missions, pick your load out, etc..and story mode has been a thing for years

I still don't know how people accurately shoot in this game with so many enemies and constantly needing to move. I built up the shit out of my flame thrower to completely avoid aiming.

Anyway, I haven't played in almost 2 years. I thought about giving it another shot. It's a decent game but it gets repetitive. If you're on console the updates go through times when nothing substantial will hit for like half a year. Still, I've let a lot if updates build up since the last time I played so I would have plenty to do.

Likewise on the updates.

But as far as aiming, I use a burst rifle, magnums, and dual swords with flame enchant. 90% of all i do with my loki is radial disarm + melee and invisibility + melee. If I'm shooting, I use decoy. There is no real reason to aim, and the overwhelming majority of enemies are easy for melee so melee weapons are the most important
