More than I did as a paramedic. More than I did interning as a web developer. Its cray. I shouldve done this years ago. Wish I had been doing it when I was living at home instead of working at lolbucks. Mightve actually had some savings.

Yeah my friends that have done it have made real bank. Even the lower end places were still an extra hundred a night on tops of the wage, which is minimum wage here.

I think I'd be a cute bartender and I need cash so I've been considering this... I don't drink any more though

Im attractive, had experience with drinks (starbucks, which is way more involved), customer service experience in general, and that particular bar does extensive in house training regardless of your experience.

Really depends on the place and where you live. In NC, you make a servers wage unless youre at an upscale establishment or attached to a separate organization where the jobs are more like careers. It also depends on tip share and other factors, because morning shifts can be a bitch without regulars.

The worst Ill usually do is around 15/hr, but now that business is picking up after the holidays, Im usually hovering between 20-25/hr before base hourly. And thats the lower end.

Its not amazing, but its crazy for the amount of work I actually do. Im literally just making drinks and chatting with customers and cocktail waitresses when Im free enough to do so. Not a lot of dicking around time, but its a pretty fun and carefree job.
