Anyways said "tentative" plans came to fruition and we're going to watch Kingsman 2 tomorrow. But for some odd-ass reason, she initially suggested TEN AM. I had to bargain and be like ehhhhh can we make it 11 (because I like sleeping in on weekends, who doesn't (besides this chick apparently))

So whatevs. Not really sure what to expect from a mid-morning movie. I guess maybe we'll get brunch afterwards and then I'll go home and deed. Maybe she has plans with Chad or something.

it's so fucking early for a saturday though my goddamn alarm is set for 9:51 because it takes like half an hour to get there, probably more because it's fucking super bowl weekend (i'm in MN) and I have to go near downtown

Nah different one. I actually talked to her a bit today, she said she's an environmental studies major who just finished up a final for I guess janterm, and said she didn't wanna hang because she's on break from school now and wants to hang with family (weird-ass school schedule, I know, who the fuck has february finals)

But yeah she initially told me she was going to need "time" before hanging out anyways, but obviously I'm in no rush since I have a different date in <12 hours

It's not that I'll sleep late (though I have broken noon before), but the thought of having something coming up just makes me not enjoy getting up. Like, I may "wake up" naturally at 9-930-10, but the beauty of the weekend is that if I don't have anything to do, then fuck all I'm rolling over and going right back to sleep.

But now if I wake up at ~930 tomorrow, I'll look at my phone and see I only have 21 minutes before my alarm goes off, so that 21 minutes is going to be really disappointing.

On my off days there is no reason to get up any earlier then 11 am or 12 pm.

If you happen to wake up sooner on your own then great but to choose to set your alarm for anything sooner then 11 am is laughable.

She's cool, gotta snatch her up, but she's really conservative with regards to dating so I'm not being too pushy.

Today went well, more or less what I expected. We watched Kingsman 2 and then went and got poke bowls, then went our separate ways. She's definitely a slow-worker in the dating world (which she told me up front), so I didn't try and funny business. Gave her a hug at the front door of her apartment. Baby steps.

It's weird though, like we watched the movie in one of those little private study rooms in her apartment's common area, as opposed to just going up to her room. Maybe her roommate was working or something, I wanted to ask why we didn't just go up there, but I didn't want to be pushy. It's weird.

Man I was just reflecting on the Poke Bowl place, a couple of things really pissed me off

1.) It was 2 in the afternoon and the music was blaring. Not quite like bar/club levels, but unnecessarily loud for a place that was desolate. Yes it was on a college campus, but aside from my date and me, there were two other people there, both separately doing their own thing. It's really annoying to try and converse with someone whose English still isn't 100% while also having to strain to hear what she's saying.

2.) They brought out my food first... and it was cold food too, so there was no reason to do that. Now I'm stuck in a position where I have to awkwardly fiddle around with my napkins and shit while waiting for them to bring hers out.

Food was dank though

No no, that wasn't my intent at all. I am literally never up before noon on my off day, ever. I don't see the morning at all if i'm off unless i'm forced to be awake. I'm with you entirely, I need my 10 to 12 hours on those days. I usually will take a nap at some point during the day also. My comment was directed at the savages who are up at the crack of dawn when they don't have to go to work.

No no, that wasn't my intent at all. I am literally never up before noon on my off day, ever. I don't see the morning at all if i'm off unless i'm forced to be awake. I'm with you entirely, I need my 10 to 12 hours on those days. I usually will take a nap at some point during the day also.
