Do you live in one of these Christian Hotspots?

A map was produced that shows how religious people are in the United States as Faithland shows what % of people believe in a "higher power" in these areas..

The result show a particular colour on the map that shows a solid stream of bible believers from the northern plains through Texas to the nation's eastern half where most of these are Conservative Republican States

The state of Utah is one of the only states in the west that believes in God but thats not surprising since 60% of them are MORMONS

As you move west though, Godliness begins to fll with a small patch in central California and almost ZERO along the West Coast as these are Liberal Democrat States

But One Redditer commented on this map as "Lots of rural americans self-identify as Christian and often Evangelical, but almost never actually go to Church. It goes against stereotypes, but suburban/urban and middle/upper class self and identified Christians are more diligent churchgoers than rural and poor self identified Christians".

Do you live in one of these Christian Hotspots? let's see if people do

Bullshit. For starters, California has a large Christian population -- partly thanks to immigrants from central and South America. More importantly, the two states with the *lowest* percent of Christians aren't on the West coast, they're Vermont and NH -- but even then it's 23%+ which is a far cry from zero.

Not sure of the legitimacy of the map. But it does make sense. The lower percentage point areas are mostly in traditional Democratic strongholds. And most of them do not believe in God or seriously question the existence.

On the flip side, the higher percentage points are in traditional Republican stronghold and they usually have better values and beliefs.

Are you questioning Duckbear's ability to analyze basic data that should lead to obvious conclusions?

Maybe this map is showing the percentage that go tk church regularly, not the percentage that claims to be Christian, or a branch of Christianity (no way Utah is that high if Mormon isnt included)

I don't mind if people are religious - but keep it out of the schools. Schools are a place of fact.

Here are some facts:

Moses never existed, is a composite character

Historical Jesus wasn't the Jesus of the story, who wasn't named Jesus but was a composite character similar to how Moses is a composite - historical Jesus was just some guy, like Big Lebowski
