This topic was inspired by the other topic talking about best concerts you've been to.

For me, bottom 3 goes like this:

3. Small coffee shop show of a friend's band, whose name I don't remember. I was right next to the drummer, who was playing on a large acoustic kit. All I could hear for the whole show was his cymbals. My ears were ringing for a damn week, the sound mixing was so awfully nonexistent, and they were obviously far too loud / large of a band for such a small venue.

2. Asking Alexandria. I didn't like them then, hate them after that show. They sounded like shit, and no one in the crowd seemed to care about them save for a few kids up near the front that kept trying to start a pit. Their whole set sounded like one out of tune power chord played over and over again.

1. Shitty local show in Allentown, Pennsylvania. A band called Frontlines, who I actually liked, was headlining. The sound at the venue was fucking horrendous. They had no sound system, and no sound guy, so all of the bands basically just cranked up their amps to max. It was all standing room and the place was a fucking dump. There was a crazy guy running around punching people and actually broke my friend's nose. I also got violently ill from drinking Four Lokos, and was glued to my toilet vomiting until 6 AM.

How about you all?

Not sure I've ever bothered going to a concert, other than one or two smaller local things which were both open admission and sucked. Not a music guy, though.

My least favorite musical, though, was Adams Family.

I've never been to a bad concert, thankfully, but in terms of my musical tastes, probably Tom Jones. It was a family thing so I went along. Some fat guy threw underwear on stage and everybody laughed.

The Black Keys frankly sucked live and they were the worst entertainment-to-dollar ratio of any concert I have been to

The Arctic Monkeys opened and were the best part of that show

Went to a Earl Sweatshirt & Vince Staples concert and it was really boring. It was clear that both of them were really high and they kept getting distracted, stopping a song halfway through it and then just joking around on stage for minutes at a time practically forgetting they were playing a show.

I got invited by some friends to go see Hank Jr. And 2 otherd I didn't know. One of the performers was so drunk he couldn't remember the lyrics and had to sit down.

Rob Zombie when I saw him in like... 2002. I dunno if he was drunk or something, but he half assed his show, and just when it was getting cool, it was over, seemed really short.

I went to Video Games Live twice. that's basically all the "concerts" I've been to. the first was the best and one of the most amazing things I've ever done. the second was the same exact show, though with a different set of songs or at least in a different order, and was a lot less amazing though still very enjoyable.

They played a 45 minute set, didn't play most of the songs at the normal tempos, and barely mumbled to the audience. Meh.

The Tragically Hip.

The were nearly 2 hours late getting on stage. There were massive acoustic issues for the first 30-45 minutes that made everything really echoey. I didn't like their choice of songs for the most part.

Then a few months after the concert they announced the lead singer had terminal brain cancer and I felt a little bad about how much I badmouthed the concert <_<

Oh, I also recently saw Guns 'n Roses.

All that concert did was make me realize I don't know nearly as many GnR songs as I thought, and I know way more Our Lady Peace than I thought.

The GnR concert was also freaking 3 hours long. Closer to 5 once you count the opening bands. Which is entirely too long for a concert.

Radiohead were my first live band. December 1993 supporting The Senseless Things on the Anyone Can Play Guitar tour. Cost me 4 IIRC. It was great.

Least favourite was Johnny Borrell and Zazou. I was working on it and he (Johnny Borrell - ex Razorlight) was an utter arsehole to work with. Even his own band were calling him out as a prick. Nothing worse than a faded rockstar who still thinks they are numer one.

Two concerts.. two occasions of pure torture..

I was given free tickets to both..

Spice Girls, I had a thing for Posh Spice and Ginger Spice.. don't judge me X)

Backstreet Boys, never in my life have I ever heard so many girls screaming at the top of their lungs! One girl on the row behind me lost her voice like five times I think..

Like I said, these were free tickets from my family and I was like 10-11 years old at the time XP

Went to a Steve Aoki show in Calgary. Nothing wrong with the show, but a friend of mine got insanely plastered and I had to escort him through downtown Calgary. The police saw him stumbling around, and they gave us a ride to the parking garage in the paddywagon. We still had to wait for him to calm down before we were able to tuck him into the car and head home.

A Gordon Lightfoot concert, back in June 2015. I enjoy his music but his performance was dismal during that concert, and it seemed on account of his age. Like half the audience walked out during the intermission.

The theater that hosted the concert issued an apology the next day.

Ones like these are just kind of sad.
