I've always thought Tooie was like a depressing version of Kazooie.

Kazooie was like a normal happy-go-lucky Nintendo game, but Tooie introduced things like towns being destroyed, dead kings roaming the street... 0_o

One of the jinjo families was killed when the digger flattened their house, Banjo's goldfish was trapped under a boulder, & would most certainly suffocate or starve without help, Bottles' ghost's comments on his body, Gruntilda ripped Cheato's pages out in spite for his helping in the last game, & Spiral Mountain in general being devastated.

It mostly goes back to standard cartoony fun by the time Jamjars & Kazooie are ripping on each other, but early parts are super bleak.

Tooie tends to get a lot of flak because it's worlds are much bigger and it requires a lot of backtracking.

My friend has been playing it lately, while I watch and sometimes help. He was about Barkway then the game before I joined in though. He's not great at it. I saw his totals and he managed to spend 2.5 hours in Terrydactyl land, found all of the notes, but only one jiggy lol.

Me neither. Nor Tooie.

I got a 64 from a friend who was Spring cleaning though so maybe I'll add it to my collection eventually.
