Takes about 5 minutes of my attention, but it's a good opportunity to just clear my mind and focus on a single task. Kind of a like a short mediation. When you first look at the process, it seems super involved, but it really is simple. How it was best describe to me was, immersion brewing (ie french press), is all body, so it's like tasting the crust of a pizza, whereas pourover creates a more bright cup, so it's more like tasting the toppings.
