I might get a few before I turn 30 so I got a few years. I really shouldve gotten some a few years back. They would look dope on my skin anyway.

I have a Fallout related tattoo on my ribs.

I didn't cry, but I was damn close. Like the actual ribs were tolerable, but in between the ribs fucking hurt me to the core.

No. Im probably the only person in my town that doesnt have one. I dont know what Id get, though. Its kind of... permanent, so I figure its best to choose something that has meaning to me. Its not out of the question, but Id rather save the money.

Same. It was when I was getting my back done. 12 hour session, fell asleep half way through. Luckily the artist said I didn't twitch or anything while I was out.

Tattoos don't really hurt that much unless they're on your ribs, chest plate, neck, or wrist.

And feet!

What kind of video game?

I have no idea. Ratchet and Clank, Pokmon, Zelda, Mega Man, and Final Fantasy are probably all contenders.

My cousin has a Pokmon sleeve he had done a few years ago. It's actually pretty awesome.

Pics dammit! I hope theres a starmie

Yeah, I'm curious about this too.

How much do they generally cost, tattoo people?

In Canada it was typically around $150+/hour. I paid $600 for my Turtles tattoo because i got a deal (a guy cancelled and he called me saying he had an opening if I still wanted, gave me a discounted day.

In Thailand however it can be pretty cheap. I paid about $300usd for my teddy bear and that took over 4 hours and the artist is considered one of the best, if not the best water colour tattooist in southern Thailand.

Regular shops are as low as $30/hour. My bamboo half sleeve cost me a total of $100 and those were actually donations to the temples and not actual fees.

Here is my sak yant tattoo. The main part of the forearm is a protection yant with Hanuman. The tiger I got just before my first Muay Thai fight and it's supposed to give you strength. The top part is Rahu, a Hindu/Buddhist God that's for good luck amongst some other things. This was all done by 3 different monks using bamboo and the tap method of tattooing.

A lot of Thais and the monks believe that the tattoos have magical powers if you recite the mantra over and over (apparently thousands of times per day for years). The Hanuman is supposed to make my body impervious to guns and other weapons, I'm not willing to test that theory out.

And surprisingly, these are some of the least painful tattoos you can get and heal in under 24 hours unlike 2+ weeks with machine tattoos. I feel asleep when he was doing Hanuman.
