This is gonna be the easiest case I've ever done. Just gonna sit outside this homeboy's house all day and see if he does anything he shouldn't be able to.

I told the client I am certain it is not fraud, but if they want to keep paying me I'm content to let them.

Just go through the licensing and education process like most jobs.

Pretty easy way to get into the business is by becoming a process server, but that is very much not fun work. Can be pretty fucking dangerous at times.

It will however help you get to know a PI who can help you along the way.

He works construction. As I understand it a forklift operator knocked a scaffold over, and right onto his ass.

Hope he's raking in cash if he's hurt that badly yet the company still looking to get out of it. Like was he folded in half backwards and they're like let's make sure he's not just being a bitch about it?

tbh, that and process serving sound pretty fun, but it doesn't seem like the kind of work you could build a real career around (ie, progressive responsibility and pay)

they always do these investigations when the claim goes beyond a certain length. He wasnt exactly folded in half I don't think. Looks like most of the damage was to his pelvis, so I can sympathize.

Process serving is not at all fun. I don't do it myself anymore. I usually just hire college kids to do it.

It's a whole lot of driving and a whole lot of nothing, followed by a potentially violent altercation.

It's fairly easy to build a career around it if you're willing to invest the time into making a name for yourself.

Honestly, I have so many cases come my way that I can pick and choose what I like and refer the rest elsewhere.

either way, that was about as uneventful a day as i can imagine. these dummies are wasting their money, and i told them as much, but they want to continue through the week so oh well.
