They tainted my thoughts of Obama because of what they did to me on inauguration day

Obama had just been sworn in. I made a joke saying that the man supposed to be Jesus Christ returned was lazy because in the 30 minutes he had been president he hadn't yet fixed literally every problem on Earth and created a perfect paradise. People said I was insulting all black people. And the mods yelled at me and accused me of being racist in the appeals and removed my appeals and suspended me for 3 months. All over a mild joke about Obama. I came out of it thinking that everyone who worshipped Obama was a reverse racist. And I was never able to think about Obama without feeling bitterness

The supposed racial joke I said I didn't even know. I actually LEARNED a black stereotype that day. I was literally innocent. I always thought being lazy was a Mexican stereotype. It was an example of people cracking down on someone who was so innocent they didn't even comprehend what they were being punished for

I remember when everyone thought I was a racist.

Someone made a topic asking what "the most dangerous animal in Africa" was.

I responded "human".

One of the responses jokingly suggested I hated black people and a bunch of others picked up on it.

What is racist about that? Unlike you I was old enough on that day to understand all the political stuff going on
I wasn't a kid. You were probably in grade school. I was in my late 20's when Obama got elected so I was more aware of the world. And the joke was mocking the hype about him at the time. If you don't understand, read a history book about the Obama campaign

Yes. sBallen himself said in an appeal that he was going to forgive me until he saw me trying to explain that it wasn't a racist joke. He misunderstood me when someone said "right cause all black people are lazy huh" and I said "no but all baracks are". The point of that like was to playfully let them know I wasn't making a racial joke I was just talking about Barack Obama. But SBallen didn't understand and he upheld just cause of that. I was a completely ignorant innocent. I didn't even know the racist stereotype I was accused of using existed that is how innocent I was

Of all the moderations I have gotten I have never forgotten or forgiven this one. I still obsess over it. It was a massive injustice

It wasn't offensive. It was a political joke. And just because the target happened to be black people went insane. So much for treating everyone equally huh? The racists were the ones attacking me. I treated Obama as any other man. My attackers treated him special because of his race. That is racism

I have non black and white views. the entire reason I get hated on here is cause of my refusal to see the world in black and white. that's literally what it boils down. non black and white thinking has gotten me into like 90% of my problems on here.
