...but Little Mac has more specials, and you can play as the other boxers, making it more like a fighting game than a boxing simulator.

As long as it captures the spirit of the NES or SNES games, I'm cool with it. I haven't played the more recent one, but it seemed like a swing and a miss from a creative standpoint.

Youre way off, mate, that game rocks.

Id be a bit conflicted. Could be fun though.

Like I said, I haven't played it. It could be good from a gameplay standpoint, but I disliked the character designs and updates.

I would agree with this. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was one of my favorite games as a kid, and I later came to enjoy Super Punch-Out!! even more. But I could never get into the Wii version. I tried a couple times and just didn't like it at all.

Wii is a great game but yeah I wasn't a big fan of the graphics, everything Next Level puts out has this really cheap feeling to it that isn't far off from some 6th/7th gen shovelware I've seen

I think the actual art direction was fine though, Smash refined the Wii design for Little Mac really well

I would like a new Punch-Out game that doesn't have any of the opponents that were in the Wii game. As much as I like those characters, we already fought them twice in that game.

Also keep the star function rather than putting in the meter system the Arcade games and SPO had. It's more interesting finding various ways to get stars off the opponent whereas with the meter you just simply gain meter by hitting your opponent anywhere and anytime. It also didn't go down unless you got hit, so if you were really good, your opponent would be on the mat in no time.

It's amazing how people hang around message boards of games they don't like
