I've always liked the time OP spends on details, but I really feel the last two chapters have just not progressed anything at all. The "important thing" last chapter was the fangirl sister being taken out, and this chapter it was...I don't know, the flashback? The Snake Man? Big Mom getting super skinny? The fact they have to get to Fluffy Island?

It's been a chase across her entire Kingdom

I thought it was actually refreshing though to not have luffy be the one fighting Big Mom leaving that to Sanji and his cooking abilities

Luffy vs Katakuri has been one of the better fights in the entire series

In the past handful chapters it's been fun to see Luffy learn on the fly how to use his observation haki to see into the future to avoid incoming attacks

It's pretty good.

Luffy has understated nuance, like his "well it depends on what kind of person he is" line. It really sets him apart from most shounen protagonists. You can have a debate about Luffy's character because of insightful nuggets like that.

Its been a long arc but the Katakuri fight has been lit.

Big Mom on the Sunny was fantastic too.

It's probably longer than it seems because I think a lot of people were expecting them to get out of there as soon as they got Sanji and come back later to take her out but instead looks like they're going to do all that right now

For those that missed it back in December spoilers for what the next two years of the manga will be about

In the message, Oda said that the manga will enter the Wano Country arc this year. He added that he said the same thing last year, but explained that at the time he thought he would be able to enter the arc this year.

Oda also stated in the message that he plans to introduce a "lurking legend" in the One Piece world next year. He also added that it will be "Luffy and his crew's greatest enemy." Oda teased that this enemy "might be related to Whitebeard." Oda also teased that the Paramount War storyline in the series will "look cute" compared to "that."

Oda had said in an interview in the Super Kabuki II One Piece ''Idai Naru Sekai" photo collection and information book that shipped last month that he thought that he will get to the Wano Country arc within 1-2 years, but he will also "probably" draw a story related to Ace within the arc.
