God no ha ha and I actually have a soft spot for AotC.

Jango was indeed bad ass, but a ton of his badassery came from a video game, not the movie. Coolest thing he did in the movie was shoot a Jedi who, by what we know about him in the EU, never used his lightsaber.

Arena battle was cute, but kind of scattered. C-3P0 becoming a battle droid is hilarious when you're a kid but when you're older it's just distracting.

Christopher Lee is awesome but most of what they have him say is political babble.

It's not as inhumanely bad as people make it out to be but TFA and TLJ spray diarrhea all over it.

At least it actually made a valid and interesting origin that realated to the OT. Whereas the other two were sloppy seconds of an interesting and engaging story that anyone would care to see in the development of characters from the OP. All of the PT are god awful. AotC shining a bit more out of three turds isn't saying much.

The Anakin vs Dooku fight in AotC is the worst lightsaber fight ever. Watch it on youtube. Most of that fight is just a shot of one of their faces waving their own lightsaber of their own head. Like nothing happened and then poof, Anakin loses his arm.

I think the Disney films are better than the Prequels. I don't like TLJ. I think it's worse than RotJ but I think TFA and Rogue One are both better than RotJ but still worse than the original and ESB.

For me it's ESB > SW > Rogue One > TFA >RotJ > TLJ > RotS > AotC >PM

Ironically I think Obi-wans fight with Maul after Qui-Gon's death is the best lightsaber fight in the entire series.

Eh earlier when it was both Qui-Gon and Obi-wan, Obi-wan was repeating the same movements over and over. Like watching the movie naturally you wouldn't notice but if you watch videos and just focus on what he's doing it's pretty silly up until it becomes a 1 v 1.

Well I can, because the music in all of the prequels is phenomenal.
Across the Stars, Anakin's Dark Deeds, Battle of the Heroes (always reminds me of KotOR), Birth of the Empire...

With the Disney stuff, the passion for Williams just isn't there, and the lack of planning by the producers means that he can't build on ideas towards a natural end.

I'm in the minority that feels TPM is the "best" of the PT. I personally loathe the PT, and AotC is the worst of them all.

I hate RotS too but I can at least understand why some people like it. I feel it suffers from the same problems that AotC does (shitty acting, ugly visuals, poorly shot action sequences) but not the extreme degree of AotC, for some people I can see how RotS is enjoyable.

There is nothing redeeming about AotC. I don't understand how people can criticize the Disney movies for repeating ideas from other movies when the only highlight of AotC is a reused character with a new paint job (Jango)

You're free to hate where Disney has taken Star Wars, but holy fuck do some people need to take a step away from the ledge and not start forming favorable opinions of objectively bad films in the prequels compared to the Disney sequels. Even if you dislike the sequels, at the very least they can be enjoyed as a taking your brain out visual experience whereas the prequels are horribly paced, poorly written, often devoid of life, filled with stagnant and repetitive scene composition, very obviously stifled with green screens in interpersonal dialogue sections, and all in all full of idiotic character motivations.

At worst, the Disney films are just dumb popcorn flicks. That's still an upgrade over the prequels.

There are matters of opinion, but under no possible circumstance could you negatively complain about scene composition or being stifled by green screens in the sequels compared to the prequels, and the idiotic character motivations are far less in the sequels as well (RotS is essentially driven by everybody except Palpatine being an utter moron).

Ok, I'll give you that one. It was the closest to DotF, but still second. Birth of the Empire was good, but still not something I could hum without thinking about it, except for of course, the reused parts from the original themes. I'm also not disagreeing that the music of the prequels was great, because it was. DotF was just the cream of the crop. AFIK it's the only one with an official music video.

There's a good looking shot here and there, but it's laughable that Lucas thought removing everything living and everything with texture from his scenes would make his films better.

That might be, I don't much care or think it matters. The point isn't the quality of the CG itself, but how Lucas used it.

If you overuse some CGI element that you have designed to look cloying as fuck for whatever reason and constantly place real actors in the middle of it with nothing tangible to aid their performance, that CGI will look like shit.

The Transformers movies have great CGI, but constantly having metallic rectangles shoved into your face by the camera makes it look not as good.

99% of scenes in the prequel trilogy look not as good as comparable scenes in the original or sequel films because it looks just like (shitty) CGI, which it is.

The best looking scenes in all the prequel trilogy films are the ones set on Tattoine cause it uses real sand and real oxygen in their shot compositions.

No. Attack of the Clones bored me to tears and I don't even remember like 90% of the film as a result.
