These a star wars story movies could be one shots of new characters, an unknown mission, something actually new that is not 3 films of story worthy, and could touch on actual smaller unknown events and center a film around them.

No one gives a fuck about a story on the death star plans being stolen, a few words in ANH aka Star Wars were enough, Han Solos backstory does not need to be told when the EU already told those stories(the movie is using the same backstory for the most part), and no one gives a shit about Obi-Wans 18 years of doing jack shit in the desert watching over Luke.

I somewhat care about an Obi-Wan movie because seeing Ewan with an actually good script would be fantastic

Flesh out Boba Fett becoming a badass bounty hunter, show Vader hunting down the jedi, cover the actual formation of the rebellion, those are stories worth telling.

No tell stories where we do not know the outcome already, an order 66 film could have a few jedi who survive, boba fett is a fan favorite whos bounty hunting past is unknown, and no one knows how the actual rebellion was formed.

Studios aren't typically going to do straight up unknown films, especially in an established franchise.

Also a lot of those stories are already being told in novels and comics <_<
