Well?

Let's say somehow, every single form of tax is optionally forgotten for you. E.g. a $.99 soda bottle will cost exactly that for the rest of your life along with every single thing you buy including stuff like income taxes. Would you not pay taxes or would your consciousness make you feel too guilty about dodging them?

Only if I knew there was a 0% chance of ever getting in trouble.

I'm too paranoid to take advantage of something like that otherwise.

I avoid taxes whenever possible. When I do 1099 work the government helps themselves to a solid 35% of my money. "Oh, you made thirty grand doing side work this year? Congratulations Mr. R4! Cut us a check for ten grand and we'll call it even!"

Having multiple jobs is "abusing the system?" You'll have to explain that one to me. I want to make money so I work. That's... how the system works.

Why, so how about we let 1 person just do all the jobs then! And not have to pay taxes either! That will work!

No. I want the things my tax dollars theoretically support, and I'm willing to pay for that.

Working multiple jobs means you don't pay taxes? Shit, you'd better get on the horn with my accountant and explain that to him, my wife and I together paid nearly $40,000 in taxes this year.
