Black Panther, just like Last Jedi and most Disney films never receive any sort of criticism from the pretentious movies. A lot of people have waken up after Last Jedi and realise that a lot of the reviewers are controlled. Nevertheless the sjws become mad at everyone who has the guys to criticize the film, thus creating a strong divide between reasonable people and the politically correct sjws.

For the past year, black schools, businesses, celebrities, organizations, radio stations, news sites, Twitter, have been eagerly awaiting this movie in a similar way to how activated they were in 2008 when Barack Obama was running for president. They were both pretty significant cultural events, one being more so than the other.

Obviously, Barack Obama's election in 2008 was much more culturally significant than this movie, but black people are definitely very excited to see Black Panther. Black Panther had record pre-release ticket sales, so there's definitely a ton of excitement about the movie.

I've seen every Marvel movie in theaters, but never been in a theater of 95% black people on release day for a Marvel movie until Black Panther.

Now that I've seen the movie, it is different from Blade significantly.

In Blade, the hero is a vampire hunter who just happened to be black. If he had been white, it would have no effect on the story or characters.

In Black Panther, the hero is the leader of an African nation, and the villain wants to declare war on the world for the crimes committed on other black people. He refers to other countries as 'colonizers'. Race is a theme of the movie.

Sounds basically the same as the comics. KillMonger's main theme is hating that Wakanda opens up to the world and wants to rid it of outside influences in the comics
