It was actually pretty damn good, I didn't expect it to be.

I also have some ghost pepper garlic pickles and candied jalapenos to try. It's vendor sample day at work. I'm not trying the pickled okra because okra is gross.

Damn, that sounds pretty good, actually. Was the yolk runny or solid? I feel like it would be easy to overcook a quail egg given how small they are.

pickled eggs always have a solid yoke don't they? I don't think you can pickle a softboiled egg

I really don't know either... It was mostly an assumption on my part. I've had boiled eggs but never a pickled egg.

It was equivalent of a hard boiled egg, the yolk was solid. It tasted similar, but with more flavor.
